Maternity worldwide is working to reduce deaths in developing countries by providing quality maternal health services to those communities most in need. And the success of their projects is always dependent on its donors. It takes just £15 to sponsor a safe childbirth in Western Ethiopia – not a great deal to the western world but hugely expensive to Ethiopian, whose average wage is just £110 per year.
